Neema Ejercito
CEO & User Engagement Lead
Neema is a professional creative writer and mentor with experience in education, the entertainment industry, print and online publications, and business consulting. Her prose and poetry appeared in publications in North America and Asia and include topics such as cultural identity and video games. Her other works include Alphabesties, a 3D-animated edutainment series for beginning readers, which won her and her team representation at various content markets abroad and is distributed in East Asia. She also taught numerous creative writing classes and workshops for all ages. Her background includes an MA in Asia Pacific Studies from the University of San Francisco and an MFA in Creative Writing.
Mark Chan
Product Development Lead
Mark is an educator and experienced consultant proficient in business consulting, educational consulting, management and financial consulting, and strategic planning. He taught as a full-time middle school teacher in Ontario for 5 years. He graduated with Distinction (MBA) from the Asian Institute of Management in the Philippines, and was a Dean's Lister at the University of California Los Angeles Anderson School of Business as part of his degree. He holds an undergraduate degree in English from the University of Toronto. Mark is also a published author and a professional recording artist, as he uses his passion in writing and music as inspiration to teach students about the beauty of creativity and artistic design in learning.
Ron Ejercito
COO
Ron is an entrepreneur and experienced consultant accomplished in business consulting, the entertainment industry, software development, and video game design and publishing. When the pandemic hit and schools went online, he saw an opportunity to help students, teachers, and parents navigate the new normal of education. He seeks to simplify teaching and gamify learning, believing that playful teaching and learning is the best way to improve the current education system. His background includes an MBA degree from the University of San Francisco and a BS in Game Design.
June Shi
UX Design Lead
June is an UI/UX and graphic designer with over five years of professional experience. She has also spent three years working as a student consultant at an education and immigration agency, where she developed strong relationships with students and educators and gained in-depth knowledge of the North American education system. Her multicultural background brings a diverse and nuanced perspective to her design practice. June holds an MBA from University Canada West and a Bachelor of Arts in Interactive Arts & Technology from Simon Fraser University, and she is committed to applying her expertise to create meaningful tools that support teachers across North America.
